Before I buy a book I like to read the first chapter to see if it's worth my dollar bills that I work hard for flipping burgers. (I don't flip burgers in real life.) If that means sitting criss cross apple sauce in the middle of the aisle I do what I have to do. Ever wonder why there isn't a seating section? I figured my head buried in a book would have a better outcome than staring at my phone all day. I know reading doesn't sound like the most exciting hobby but don't knock it unless you try it. Trust me I know everything is easier said than done. Maybe you haven't found the right one or looking in the wrong section. I start off in the horror section or how to's but consistently end up in the personal growth section. I would have never imagined I'd be going to the book store every week let alone opening a membership! When the student is ready, the teacher appears and for me it was Jorge Cruise. Author of "The 3 choices." Going to books a million and landing on this goldmine was the day my life took a turn for the best. "BE IMPERFECTLY YOU, DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATHE, MOVE TO IMPROVE." Before I knew it, I was incorporating those three lines to my life every day, including now. For the moment I am reading "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin and that's one of the inspirations behind me starting this blog. Don't expect to be motivated by motivation, you have to hit the ground running every day to aspire feeling unstoppable, better than ever before. Starting again is harder than starting. With that being said I will be posting daily. I hope my readers are enjoying themselves taking a peak into my world. My consciousness is becoming my best friend, it will be my best friend. I am a rockstar. I am the greatest blogger ever.
"I am the energy, the consciousness, the being in the flesh. You can speak without moving your mouth. You can hear without using your ears. You can see without using your eyes." An ancient meditation below made my brain explode around midnight yesterday. It opened my eyes to a different point of view I would've never thought about. (Shout out to the friend that sent it to me.) "Death is an illusion, once you realize that you live your life more courageously." Another persons opinion wont affect your drive, your journey. Living in the now will never fail you! It's okay to go off the path -embrace the unexpected, travel, teach, help, experiment, don't be afraid of failure. You are in control of your life, your destiny. What makes you happy? What makes you feel bad? When is the right time to put all your fears aside and go after what you really want? What you can be doing decades from now and your passion will still exist. Accept yourself and most importantly, expect more from yourself! The days are long but the years are short.
